At this length, gates deserve a decision rather than an afterthought. A single three foot walk gate is a hundred dollars of hardware; a twelve foot double drive gate needs heavier posts set deeper, bracing, and often a drop rod into a concrete pad.
Consider mixing fence types. Six foot privacy where you want screening and four foot picket or wire where you only want a boundary can cut the bill substantially on a run this long, and it usually looks more deliberate than one uniform wall.

- Sections are the length divided by the spacing, and posts are sections plus one. Corners and gates each add a post on top of that.
- Concrete per hole is the hole volume less the post, figured at a 4x4. Two 50 lb bags per hole is the common shortcut and it is close.
- Set posts a third of their length in the ground in frost country, and check your local frost depth before you dig.
